Padel in Canada 2026: 35 Clubs Across Five Provinces

Every padel club in Canada, mapped province by province: 30 open, 5 on the way

November 3, 2026·5 min read·Padel Browser

Canada has 35 padel clubs in the Padel Browser directory as of 3 November 2026: 30 open and 5 still being built, with 112 courts between them across 23 cities. They sit in five provinces. Ontario and Quebec hold 25 of the 35, and nothing is listed between Alberta and Ontario, or east of Dartmouth.

These clubs went into the directory in late October 2026. That date is when we mapped them, not when they opened. Several have been running for years. Use the Canada directory page to filter by city and check availability.

Province by province

The split by province, counting every listed club:

  • Ontario: 15 clubs, 49 courts, 8 cities (Ontario page)
  • Quebec: 10 clubs, 31 courts, 7 cities (Quebec page)
  • British Columbia: 5 clubs, 13 courts, 5 cities
  • Alberta: 4 clubs, 18 courts, 2 cities
  • Nova Scotia: 1 club, 1 court

Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island and the territories have no club in the directory.

Ontario: the biggest club and the most courts

Ontario's 13 open clubs run 47 courts, and the Greater Toronto Area holds most of them. Two venues stand out by size. CourtX in Oakville has 10 padel courts, and The District Padel & Pickleball Club in Mississauga has 8 under a 38ft ceiling. Toronto proper has Blue Cat Padel in Scarborough, North Padel Club in North York and two Fairgrounds sites (Leaside and Rosehill).

Outside the GTA, Ottawa has Padel & Friends (3 indoor courts) and an outdoor court at Rideau Sports Centre. Kitchener has two single-court venues: Rookie + Ace Multi-Sport indoors and the members-only Kitchener-Waterloo Racquet Club outdoors.

CourtX

CourtX is the largest padel venue in the country by court count. Its own site lists 8 panoramic courts plus 2 single padel courts, which it calls "the only 2 single padel courts in Canada". Singles courts are narrower and take two players, so a pair can book one without finding a second pair. The building also holds 11 pickleball courts.

Quebec: Montreal and the one national chain

Quebec has 9 open clubs with 31 courts, all in the Montreal area. The largest is Maison Athletique (7 indoor courts). Kopa Padel has 4. Off the island, there are 3-court clubs in Laval (Padel Ranch, outdoor), Blainville (Royal Padel, Rue Jean-Paul-Cayer) and Longueuil (Club Padel Montreal). Le Deuce Club is on chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse in Mont-Royal.

Padel FVR is the only operator with clubs in more than one province: Cathcart downtown, Cavendish in Saint-Laurent, West Island in Dorval, and Pitt Meadows in British Columbia. Its site describes "Twelve padel courts across Montreal and Vancouver", which matches the four clubs in our listings, and its locations menu shows a "New Location Coming Soon".

British Columbia and Alberta

British Columbia's 4 open clubs are far apart. Padel FVR Pitt Meadows is in the Fraser Valley, The Belvedere Club in Richmond is members-only, and the Okanagan has two outdoor venues: Lake Country Padel, whose site lists 3 outdoor courts at Jack Seaton Park, and the single court at Maple Padel in Kelowna.

Nova Scotia's single court

East of Quebec the directory has one court: Brinery Racquet Club at 81 Wright Ave in Dartmouth. It is indoors, which matters on the Atlantic coast.

Canada plays padel indoors

Of the 104 courts at open clubs, 78 are at fully indoor venues, and 20 of the 30 open clubs are indoor-only. The outdoor clubs (Fairgrounds Rosehill, Padel Ranch, Padel FVR Cavendish, Lake Country Padel, Maple Padel and others) are mostly seasonal. Lake Country Padel sells "seasonal memberships". For what changes between the two, see indoor vs outdoor padel and playing padel in cold weather.

Booking: four platforms, and half the clubs on none

Of the 30 open clubs, 15 have no booking platform recorded in our listings. They take bookings through their own site, an app or the phone. The other 15 are split four ways: Playtomic 7, PlayByPoint 5, CourtReserve 2 and CatchCorner 1 (Padel Junction in Mississauga). Mexico is the opposite case: 512 of its 600 listed clubs are on Playtomic. A visitor to Canada should expect to download more than one app. The booking platforms guide covers how each one works.

Five clubs still being built

Five Canadian clubs are listed as Opening Soon:

  • The Nostalgia Club, Calgary: a members-only club whose site says "Breaking Ground Now" and gives "Fall 2029" as its opening, with 3 indoor courts planned.
  • Trounce Padel, Collingwood, Ontario: indoor, at 140 Mountain Rd.
  • Burlington Hall Sporting Club, Burlington, Ontario: a private multi-sport club adding 2 padel courts.
  • Sport Zone, Quebec City: indoor, at 1185 rue Vincent-Massey.
  • The Padel Hub, Victoria: 3 outdoor courts proposed at 356 Harbour Road.

Neither Trounce Padel nor Sport Zone has a club website we could find, and we could not confirm an opening date for either on 3 November 2026, so check before making the trip. If either is the closest club to you, its listing page will change to open once we see it taking bookings.
