Chris Thorburn has rather been a rude instructor. In my experience, everything had to be under his control. At the ubco ballroom dance club, students did not have the freedom to do their favourite dance moves on the floor simply because Chris didn't like them. He would threaten to kick people out which was not even his right. It is out of dance etiquette that an instructor sets up policies for a "Social Dance Floor" unless it's for safety, but in the case of Chris, he was controlling all of the moves. Many people have left the ballroom dsnce club and would never return. I highly advice that nobody takes his dance classes as he is not a good instructor.

Lake Country Paddle Club Review My friends recently moved from Asia, where paddle is super popular, and introduced me to it here in Canada. While it hasn’t fully taken off locally yet, it’s such a fun and addicting sport—I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys paddle or racquet sports. The Lake Country Paddle Club makes it really easy to get started. Membership is super affordable (you can just e-transfer to join), and they offer coaching at a great rate whether you’re a total beginner or looking to level up. I’ve gone twice now and loved it—I’ll definitely be going more often!
