The Kitchener-Waterloo Racquet Club is a squash club at 138 Duke Street East in downtown Kitchener, behind the Farmers Market. It was founded in 1962 by squash pioneer Barney Lawrence. It has two international singles squash courts, a hardball doubles court and a hardball singles court, plus changerooms with lockers, showers and a sauna, a fitness area and a licensed lounge.
The club has built one outdoor padel court, which is open to members, and held its padel grand opening on September 25, 2026. A padel membership costs $55 a month plus a $250 initiation fee, with court fees of $15 per hour per player. Members book through the club's CourtReserve portal and app.
What Players Say
Best club around, great group of people and atmosphere, players of all levels, tons of different leagues/ladders/events to sign up for, and the facilities are great. 2 high quality wet saunas, who could ask for more?!?!
Awesome place. Great exercise and place to hang out for hubby. Jeff, the squash instructor, is amazing with my kids. You can't get better. Tyler, the bartender/chef extraordinaire, is a fantastic host and creates a great vibe.
One the best squash clubs out there. Playing on the traveling team for Brantford myself and the rest of the team members look forwarding going to this club. It’s a private club geared to Squash members. The food here is amazing and we always get treated well. If your ever looking to check out a club make sure you put this one on the list.
