WynPadel Relaunches Padel at The Westin Rancho Mirage
Public padel in the Coachella Valley moves from Parker Palm Springs to a Rancho Mirage resort address this fall.
WynPadel's public padel programming is changing addresses. The operator behind racquet sports at two Coachella Valley resorts is relaunching padel at The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa in Fall 2026 — and winding down public padel at Parker Palm Springs to do it.
Padel is coming to The Westin — but it isn't open yet
As of mid-September 2026, you cannot book a padel court in Rancho Mirage. WynPadel's own page for the property is unambiguous: it says the company is "building the valley's next great padel destination," with play beginning in Fall 2026. The Westin's racquet operation covers tennis and pickleball today; padel is the piece still under construction.
One number is conspicuously absent: how many courts. WynPadel describes new courts being built but has not published a count anywhere, so we don't list one either. If you see a court count for this venue quoted elsewhere, it isn't coming from the operator.

Resort padel on Dinah Shore Drive, at a property that already runs a full tennis and pickleball operation — so the pro shop, coaching staff, stringing service and front desk are in place before the first padel ball is struck. That's an unusual luxury for a new venue. Expect destination players staying on property alongside valley regulars following the programming over from Palm Springs.
Who WynPadel is, and the WynTennis connection
WynPadel and WynTennis are one operation. WynTennis runs the racquet program at the Westin and has spun padel out onto its own brand and domain at WynPadel; the old wyntennis.net/padel page now returns a 404, a small but reliable sign the transition is underway.
The more consequential half of this story is in Palm Springs. WynPadel currently runs two outdoor courts at Parker Palm Springs, and has announced it "will no longer offer public padel programming or court access" there. Padel at the Parker doesn't disappear — it continues as a private service for Parker Estate guests only. The public side, meaning the drop-ins, clinics and mixers, moves to Rancho Mirage.
So this isn't simply a new venue added to the valley. If you've been playing at the Parker, it's a relocation.
What the programming will look like
WynPadel has published the lineup arriving with the courts:
- Beginner and instructional clinics
- Performance training
- Open play and social mixers
- Private and semi-private lessons
- Match play and special events
Court access will be open play plus member bookings, with early access for members and resort guests.
Worth separating clearly: the daily drop-ins, junior academy and seasonal memberships already advertised at the Westin belong to the tennis and pickleball programs running right now. Padel's schedule starts from the list above, not from those.
On price, WynTennis lists padel courts at $40 per hour per court for non-members — about $10 a head for a doubles four — with members getting four free reservations a month, then $10 per hour. Private lessons start at $100 per hour and paddle rentals are $5. Those rates were set for the Parker courts, so confirm them when Westin booking opens.
Resort guest or local? Both work
You don't need to be staying at the resort. WynTennis answers this in its own FAQ: programs are "open to both resort guests and local players." A membership isn't required either — most programming is open to everyone, with memberships adding discounted rates and priority booking.
Resort guests get one real convenience: they can book through the front desk rather than the booking system. Courts at the property currently run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.
Flying in without gear is fine — paddle rentals and demos are at the desk, and the pro shop handles stringing. That's six courts across three open venues right now, all outdoor, all in Palm Desert or Palm Springs. Once the Parker goes private and the Westin opens, the valley's public court count rests entirely on how many courts WynPadel builds in Rancho Mirage — which is why that unpublished number is the detail to watch.
