About Fisher Island Club

Fisher Island Club is one of the United States' most exclusive private island clubs — set on 216 acres of its namesake private island just off Miami Beach, accessible only by ferry. The racquet program is the island's athletic centerpiece: the Racquet Club has been ranked #1 in the East Coast region by Tennis Magazine, and the grass courts have drawn top professionals like Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, Sofia Kenin, Gael Monfils, and the Bryan Brothers for pre-Wimbledon training. Padel is among the emerging racket sports on the island.

The Racquet Club

• 17 tennis courts across all four "Grand Slam" surfaces:
  • 2 grass courts (consulted with the Head Groundskeeper from the All England Club / Wimbledon)
  • 5 European red clay courts
  • 3 hard (DecoTurf) courts
  • 7 Har-Tru courts
• 4 cushioned pickleball courts with spectators' patio and evening lighting
• 2 padel courts (per third-party tennis directories; not yet highlighted on the club's primary racquet-sports page)
• Centre court with stepped-up viewing area for tournaments
• Nighttime lighting across courts

Coaching

Fisher Island Club has 10 tennis and pickleball professionals on staff, certified by USPTA Elite Professional, PTR, ATP, and the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association. Coaches hail from Italy, Brazil, Cuba, and the U.S. Lessons are available daily; clinics, children's programs, and holiday camps run year-round.

Pro Shop

The on-site pro shop carries Wilson, Prince, Babolat, Head, Nike, Fila, Lacoste, Polo, and New Balance.
