Padel Courts in Georgia: 4 Clubs Beyond Atlanta (2026)

Georgia has seven padel clubs across five cities, and only three of them sit inside Atlanta. Eighteen months ago the entire scene was PATL in Chamblee, Padel Haus Atlanta on the Westside, and one court behind the gates of the Piedmont Driving Club — all covered in our Atlanta padel guide.

This guide covers the rest of Georgia: the four clubs outside the city, in Alpharetta, Tucker, Peachtree City and Columbus. They are not spillover from the city scene. They are four genuinely different answers to the question of what a padel club should be — a lakeside racket-and-swim club, a family-run outdoor spot off a state highway, two glass courts inside a pickleball warehouse, and a self-serve club that has not broken ground yet.

Alpharetta: padel inside a full racket-and-swim club

Drive about 30 miles north of Midtown up GA-400 and padel stops being a standalone destination. At Windward Lake it is one wing of a sprawling racket and lifestyle club — the club's own site lists 20 lighted tennis courts, Har-Tru clay, kids courts, pickleball, a resort-style aquatics complex with pools and cabanas, and marina memberships with boat slips on the lake.

That context matters when you plan a visit. This is a membership club first, built around Full Facility and Social tiers, not a walk-up court rental. The padel side runs on PlayByPoint, and the club keeps program pages — Intro to Padel, beginner clinics — on a public booking portal, which is the usual on-ramp for newcomers. Call ahead to confirm guest access before you make the drive.

What players actually talk about is the coaching. Annette Rios Gil leads the padel programming and turns up by name in nearly every review the club has collected. The 4.9-star average is a small sample, but it is unusually consistent on that one point.

Tucker: the easiest place in metro Atlanta to just show up

Padel Highway opened in April 2026 on Lawrenceville Highway, about 15 miles northeast of Midtown and a couple of minutes outside I-285. It is the closest thing suburban Georgia has to a neighborhood padel club: four panoramic outdoor courts, a public booking page, and a tagline — "your pit-stop for padel" — that tells you exactly how seriously it takes the idea of dropping in.

The club is family-owned and intends to stay that way. Armando and Caitlin Suarez opened it alongside Armando's family; he grew up playing padel in Puebla, Mexico, and his parents, who run a business there, had wanted to open one in the United States for years. That lineage shows in the programming — beginner and intermediate clinics, weekly socials, memberships, and paddle rental for anyone who turns up empty-handed.

Because it runs on Playtomic, you can see open court times and book without joining anything. In practice that makes Padel Highway the default first stop for Atlanta-area players who want a court this weekend rather than a club to join this year.

Peachtree City: the only indoor padel outside Atlanta

Let's Go Pickleball & Padel got to padel sideways. Two regulation glass courts sit inside a 53,000-square-foot racket facility that is otherwise given over to more than twenty pickleball courts — and the padel is better than that framing suggests.

The courts are full-size enclosed glass, laid with premium artificial turf and lit by upward-facing fixtures specifically to kill glare, a detail that matters far more indoors than it does outside. The courts carry sponsorship from padel brands BLANCA and Pallap, paddles and balls are available at the front desk, and the building runs seven days a week.

The real argument for Peachtree City is weather. Georgia summers turn outdoor padel into a 7am-or-9pm sport for four months of the year, and this is the only club south of Atlanta where a 2pm match in July is genuinely pleasant. Padel can be added onto an existing pickleball membership — worth asking at the desk, since the club rolled out new membership plans on September 1.

Columbus: a 24-hour club, still a year out

About 100 miles southwest of Atlanta, Columbus Padel Club is attempting something nobody else in Georgia has tried — a 24-hour, self-serve club in a downtown storefront at 1939 3rd Ave. No front desk and no staffed hours: book a court, let yourself in, play.

First serve is targeted for Fall 2027, which is a long way out, and the club is refreshingly blunt about that. Its own site describes the phase-two expansion as "earned by demand, never promised on a date."

The funding model is worth understanding if you live in the Chattahoochee Valley. A Founding Lifetime Membership is one of 100 numbered spots: $100 refundable today, $900 more at groundbreaking, $1,000 total, and 75% off every court booking for life. The lighter Club '27 tier is $50 today to lock in a $50-per-month rate, with the first two months free at opening and 50% off bookings, fully refundable until groundbreaking. Both are bets on a building that does not exist yet, and they are priced like it.

How the four clubs compare

Indoor vs outdoor

Three of the four are outdoor, which in Georgia is a seasonal statement as much as an architectural one. Spring and fall are excellent; July and August push play to the edges of the day. Drop-in and open play vs membership

These four clubs sit at four different points on that spectrum. Padel Highway is the most open — book a court on Playtomic without joining. Let's Go Pickleball & Padel is membership-oriented but sells padel as an add-on to a broader racket membership. Racket Social Club is a full membership club where public clinics are the realistic entry point for a non-member. Columbus is not open at all yet, so the only way in today is a pre-sale membership.

Drive times from Midtown and Buckhead

Rough numbers, and Atlanta traffic makes all of them optimistic between 4pm and 7pm: Tucker is about 15 miles northeast, typically 25 to 40 minutes. Alpharetta is about 30 miles north up GA-400, usually 40 to 60. Peachtree City is roughly 35 miles southwest, also 40 to 60. Columbus is about 100 miles southwest — a committed trip of just under two hours, not a weeknight one.

Which Georgia club should you play at?

Never played before? Book a clinic. Racket Social Club has the deepest teaching program in the state outside the city, and Padel Highway runs beginner and intermediate clinics with rental paddles included. Either gets you rallying inside an hour.
