About Yellowstone Club
For those who seek the extraordinary, Yellowstone Club represents the pinnacle of private mountain living—and now, padel has arrived at this legendary Big Sky retreat.
Yellowstone Club is the world's only private ski and golf community, nestled in the pristine wilderness of southwest Montana. Founded in 1999 by timber baron Tim Blixseth, the club spans over 15,000 acres with more than 2,900 acres of skiable terrain and two championship golf courses designed by Tom Weiskopf and Tom Fazio. Membership is by invitation only, with a reported initiation fee of $400,000 and annual dues of approximately $45,000.
Racquet Sports at Camphouse
The club's Camphouse fitness complex serves as the home for racquet sports, featuring an expanding lineup that now includes padel alongside tennis and platform tennis. The 2025 expansion added two padel courts to complement the existing two tennis courts and two regulation platform tennis courts—bringing world-class racquet sports to an altitude of 8,000 feet.
At this elevation, players experience unique conditions: the thinner air means the ball travels faster and bounces higher, creating a distinctively dynamic padel experience. The courts are designed to meet the same exacting standards members expect from every Yellowstone Club amenity.
The Yellowstone Club Experience
Beyond padel, members enjoy access to:
- Pioneer Mountain ski area with 2,900+ skiable acres and essentially no lift lines
- Two championship golf courses carved through mountain terrain
- Village core with dining, retail, and member services
- Three fitness centers including Village Fitness, Rainbow Lodge, and Camphouse
- Spa and wellness facilities offering mountain-inspired treatments
- Year-round alpine activities from skiing to hiking, fly fishing to mountain biking
Privacy and Exclusivity
Yellowstone Club membership is limited and carefully curated. The community has become synonymous with discretion, attracting business leaders, celebrities, and families who value privacy alongside adventure. Unlike destination clubs, members own real estate—from ski-in/ski-out chalets to expansive mountain estates.
Location
1 Yellowstone Club Trail, Big Sky, Montana—approximately 45 miles south of Bozeman. The club operates its own airstrip for members arriving by private aircraft.
