About Rush

Rush is an ambitious 7-acre nature-reserve-meets-racquets-club coming to South Austin — branded as "a 7 acre nature reserve with an all-day bar, kitchen & racquets club." More than a sports facility, Rush is designed as an urban oasis combining world-class padel + pickleball with dining, coffee, bars, a hydrotherapy suite, and hike/bike trails across a site that was previously an old hardware business and lumber yard on Menchaca Road.

The Courts

Per the club and local press (Community Impact, KVUE):

• 3 padel courts
• 14 pickleball courts (including 6 covered + 3 stadium courts)
• Total: 30 premium racquet courts (including the padel, hybrid configurations described on memberships page)
• Indoor, outdoor, and covered play formats

Rush will be the training base for top Austin-based pickleball pros and will host major tournaments including Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour events.

Membership

Founding Memberships are intentionally hyper-exclusive (limited founding member count). Benefits include:

Prelaunch memberships for early access (first 6 courts) were opened late summer 2025.

Opening Timeline

• Late Summer 2025: prelaunch access to the first 6 courts (limited early memberships)
• Early to mid-2026: tentative grand opening for the full facility

Status as of 2026-04-21: partially open (prelaunch phase), full grand opening still targeting 2026.
