PELOTA Padel Club represents a historic milestone for padel in America: the first padel-only facility built from the ground up in the United States. Located in The Woodlands, Texas, this ambitious project is the vision of Sergio Ortiz, former President of the United States Padel Association (2020-2021) and current President and CEO of Sports Facilities Investment Group.

A Historic First

Occupying a 5.22-acre lot exclusively dedicated to padel, PELOTA Padel Club encompasses 40,000 square feet of playing space with professional-grade 40-foot high ceilings. This purpose-built facility sets a new standard for padel venues in North America, designed specifically for the sport rather than converted from existing structures.

The Courts

PELOTA Padel Club features an impressive 13 courts:

• 9 Indoor Courts - Climate-controlled courts for year-round play in any weather
• 3 Outdoor Courts - Traditional outdoor padel experience
• 1 Stadium Court - Professional-grade court suitable for tournaments and exhibitions

All courts are Adidas-branded, making PELOTA an all-Adidas club with top-tier equipment and facilities throughout.

The 40-foot ceiling heights provide optimal playing conditions for indoor padel, allowing for proper lob shots and overhead play that matches outdoor court dynamics. The facility's dedicated design ensures that every aspect is optimized for the padel experience.

Pro Padel League Home

PELOTA Padel Club serves as the home venue for the Houston Volts, the Pro Padel League (PPL) franchise for the Houston market. The PPL is North America's first professional padel league, and having a purpose-built venue like PELOTA gives the Houston franchise a world-class home for professional competition.

Under Sergio Ortiz's leadership, PELOTA Padel Club aims to be more than just a venue - it's intended to be a hub for growing padel in Texas and beyond.
