Newport Pickleball Club brought the first outdoor padel courts to Aquidneck Island with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in February 2026. Located on a 2.75-acre campus at 866 West Main Road in Middletown, RI, the club added 2 brand-new outdoor padel courts as an expansion of Rhode Island's premier indoor pickleball facility.

The padel courts sit alongside an outdoor turf and hardscape entertainment area designed for post-game socializing and live music events, making it a full social experience beyond the courts themselves.

Inside, the club offers 9 state-of-the-art indoor pickleball courts, casual dining, a festive bar, and private event space. Newport Pickleball Club is open to the public, welcoming both members and walk-in visitors. Court bookings are managed through the PlayByPoint platform.

Founded by a group of friends who wanted to build community through sport, Newport Pickleball Club has grown to over 400 members and has quickly established itself as a hub for racquet sports on Aquidneck Island, drawing players from across Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts.
