Newport Pickleball Club brought padel to Aquidneck Island on its 2.75-acre campus at 866 West Main Road in Middletown, RI. The club's padel operation runs under its own brand, Newport Padel, at newportpadel.com.

The indoor Development Court is open year-round and bookable by the hour. It is a purpose-built court designed for learning and skill development, with a ceiling slightly lower than a regulation tournament court, which rewards control and shot placement. Lessons and clinics run weekly for new and developing players.

Two outdoor padel courts are now open on the same campus, the first outdoor padel courts in Newport County, alongside a turf and hardscape entertainment area built for post-game socializing and live music. Leagues, tournaments, and social play run through the season, and the outdoor courts use the same reservation system as the indoor court and pickleball.

Beyond padel, the campus offers 9 indoor pickleball courts, casual dining, a bar, and private event space. Newport Pickleball Club is open to the public, welcoming both members and walk-in visitors. Padel and pickleball share one reservation account through the PlayByPoint platform.

Founded by a group of friends who wanted to build community through sport, the club has grown to over 400 members and has established itself as a hub for racquet sports on Aquidneck Island, drawing players from across Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts.
