About New Canaan Field Club

Founded in 1957, the New Canaan Field Club is a member-owned family and racquets club set on 12 acres in New Canaan, Connecticut. Originally opened with two Har-Tru tennis courts, two paddle courts, and a pool, the club has grown into a four-racquet destination offering tennis, platform tennis (paddle), pickleball, and now padel — alongside aquatics, day camp, and year-round social programming.

Racquet Sports

The Field Club offers four distinct racquet sports for its members:

• Tennis — Har-Tru clay courts
• Platform Tennis (Paddle) — 5 heated and lighted platform paddle courts with the signature Paddle Hut for warmth between matches
• Padel — dedicated padel courts for members
• Pickleball — growing program for all ages

Each sport has dedicated coaching, clinics, inter-club play, and club championships. Adult and junior programming runs year-round.

Membership

New Canaan Field Club is member-owned and family-friendly. Initial applicants apply for a Full, Legacy, or Junior Legacy membership.
