About Lake Norman Racquet & Social Club

Padel has arrived on Lake Norman. In 2026 this long-running Mooresville racquet club added the area's first dedicated padel court, making it the closest place to play north of Charlotte.

The Padel Court

LNRC runs a single outdoor padel court — listed as "Padel #1" in their booking system — lit by a professional-grade LED system for evening play. A spacious shaded patio sits alongside it, so groups can rotate on and off the court and stay a while.

Programming

Padel pros lead intro clinics and private lessons for players new to the sport, plus a recurring Padel Ladies Clinic on Wednesday evenings. Court and lesson bookings run through CourtReserve, and guest booking is available without a membership account.

The Wider Club

The padel court is part of a full racquet campus at 205 Overhill Drive: indoor and outdoor tennis across hard and clay surfaces, six lit outdoor pickleball courts, a pro shop, lounge and refreshment bar. The club also operates a separate indoor pickleball facility, Lake Norman Pickleball Club, about five minutes away on Raceway Drive.
