Knickerbocker Country Club is a private family country club in Tenafly, New Jersey, founded in 1914 and built around a classic Donald Ross golf course. Its racquets program currently runs on four Har-Tru tennis courts (April through October) and four platform tennis courts (October through March), with inter-club league teams for men and women, junior programming, clinics, socials and Cardio Tennis. The club has approved an expansion that adds two padel courts plus additional pickleball courts and relocated Har-Tru tennis courts; the club's own racquets page announces "planned additions of pickleball and padel for 2027." Groundbreaking is set for fall 2026 with completion anticipated in spring/summer 2027. Padel will be available to members only — there is no public booking platform. A white-attire dress code applies on the racquet courts, and a lounge overlooks the courts for spectators.
