About King of Padel — West Harbor

King of Padel (K.O.P.) is bringing Los Angeles' largest outdoor padel and pickleball facility to the West Harbor waterfront redevelopment in San Pedro, as part of the project's accelerated Phase 2 buildout. When it opens, the facility will be the only waterfront racquet sports venue of its kind in Southern California — six padel courts and ten pickleball courts along the Port of Los Angeles waterfront with ocean and harbor views from every court.

The Courts

Per West Harbor and press announcements, K.O.P. West Harbor will feature:

• 6 outdoor padel courts — the largest outdoor padel collection in Los Angeles
• 10 outdoor pickleball courts
• Room for open play, club play, league play, and tournaments

The six + ten combination makes this the only waterfront racquet-sports collection of its kind in Southern California.

Programs & Events

K.O.P. is positioning the venue as a year-round social and competitive destination. Announced programming includes:

• Open play sessions for padel and pickleball
• League play for all levels
• Tournaments
• Glow-in-the-dark night events
• Social mixers
• Clinics and coaching
• Private and corporate event hosting

West Harbor Context

The broader West Harbor project is a roughly $500 million waterfront redevelopment on 42 acres along the Port of Los Angeles, co-developed by Jerico Development and Ratkovich Co. on the former Ports O'Call Village site. West Harbor's first phase has already opened in 2026, with the rest of the destination — including K.O.P. — coming in Phase 2, which has been accelerated with more than 125,000 square feet of new tenant leases announced.

Parent Brand

K.O.P. also operates the K.O.P. Sports & Entertainment Center in San Antonio, Texas (314 Nolan St), combining padel, pickleball, golf simulators, 7v7 turf soccer, beach volleyball, fitness, and the King's Tavern sports bar under one roof — the same ambitious multi-sport social concept will underpin the West Harbor location.
