About Eko Padel & Pickle

Maria Pena spent more than two years searching for the right space — a venue with ceilings high enough for lobs, foot traffic to introduce newcomers, and room for a real community hangout. She found it inside Dolphin Mall, in the former CineBistro cinema.

Eko Padel & Pickle is an indoor padel and pickleball facility in the Dolphin Mall in Sweetwater, just west of Miami. Backed by a group of pro athletes — former NFL defensive back Trey Boston, Argentine basketball standout Lucas Faggiano, and former Real Madrid player Ariel Eslava — the club opened in late March 2026 as a "third space" built around inclusivity and accessibility.

The Courts

Eko features 3 indoor padel courts and 3 indoor pickleball courts across a 20,000-square-foot converted cinema space with approximately 24-foot ceilings. The former movie theater layout gave the build-out natural advantages: a cavernous main hall that didn't require structural ceiling modifications, plus pre-existing infrastructure for climate control and soundproofing.

Programs & Play

The facility welcomes all skill levels with memberships, pay-per-visit options, and play packages. Whether you're a first-timer looking to try padel or a regular player seeking consistent court time, Eko has flexible booking options. Private events and birthday parties are also available.

The Hangout

Beyond the courts, Eko's coffee shop serves empanadas, sandwiches, coffee, and New Zealand-style ice cream, with beer and wine service planned. The lounge area and retail store round out the experience — you can grab a racket, play a set, and stick around for a cortado without leaving the mall.

Location & Getting There

Located at 11401 NW 12th St, Suite E615 inside Dolphin Mall. The mall provides ample free parking and is easily accessible from the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836) and Florida's Turnpike. Being inside one of South Florida's largest outlet malls means you can combine a session with shopping or dining.
