About Edgewood Country Club

Founded in 1898, Edgewood Country Club is West Virginia's oldest club and Charleston's premier destination for recreation and community. Located in the historic Edgewood neighborhood, the club blends heritage with contemporary amenities — including a newly added padel court alongside its golf, tennis, and squash offerings.

The Courts

Edgewood's racquet sports program is built around year-round play across three surfaces:

• A cutting-edge padel court — the first at a West Virginia country club
