40Forty Padel Club in Mauldin is more than just courts—it's a community hub built around the social magic of padel. Founded by Dan Fitzgerald, a Citadel graduate and former Army Infantry Officer who discovered padel while traveling in South America, 40Forty represents a veteran-led mission to make padel accessible and affordable for everyone in the Greenville area.

The Courts

The club operates two outdoor panoramic padel courts at their pop-up location. The glass-walled courts offer the authentic padel experience with full wall play, bathed in South Carolina sunshine. Courts are available for 60, 90, or 120-minute sessions, with bookings opening seven days in advance through the Playtomic app.

Programs & Community

40Forty puts the social in social sports with a regular schedule of community events:

• Beginner's Social: Perfect introduction for newcomers to learn the game
• Ladies Introduction: Weekly sessions for women new to the sport
• Mixer Events: All skill levels welcome for fun, competitive play

Individual and group lessons are also available for players looking to develop their skills.

Dan's vision for 40Forty was shaped by his military background—leadership, community building, and accessibility are at the core of everything they do. The $25,000 venture philanthropy investment from Upstate Warrior Solution helped turn this dream into reality, bringing the Upstate its first dedicated padel destination.

40Forty keeps padel affordable with competitive rates:

• Non-Peak: $15 per player (60 minutes)
• Peak: $20 per player (60 minutes)

Winter Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 9 AM - 9 PM
• Friday-Saturday: 9 AM - 10 PM
