Hey bro, I looked into the padel retreats in SEA (especially Indonesia and Thailand) offered by the clubs themselves. For me, none of them jumped out spectacularly in terms of what I wanted both in terms of offering, scope, timing, price, etc.
I ended up putting my own little retreat together. It's a bit more work, but I think it's worth the effort. You're able to customise the experience based on your goals (e.g. mine was a bit more improvement focused), and flexibility on time as well as the social element.
I believe padel retreats put together by communities/social groups are the way forward as they'll offer more modularity and are tailored designed for the social element in mind, not so much to maximise the club's profit opportunities (i.e. fill placement in classes/product offerings that aren't as popular).
If you want to chat more, DM me! I'm happy to share my research on the clubs in SEA/Indonesia.
Hi, thanks for such a detailed response! I want to DM but I don’t see the option on your profile. Can you message me?
