❔ Question ❔

Would you care if claiming a padel court actually meant something?

**Real question: Do padel players actually want to** ***claim*** **courts, or is the current booking system fine?** Right now, you reserve a court, play, and it disappears. No one knows you play there every Tuesday. No one cares if you show up or don't. But what if it worked like this: you claim Court 4, defend it, and build a reputation there. Someone else tries to claim it, now you've got a rivalry. Your court history is visible. People know you *own* this court. **Would that be something you would use or unnecessary?** Is it something that'd actually make you more invested in showing up and playing? Or is that just game nonsense, and you just want a fast booking app? Building something for padel right now and genuinely trying to figure out which one people actually want. Thanks for your advice on this.

I can't see Padel venues or clubs adopting this at all.

Nah that would never work around here. Too many different levels and no one would actually give a shit. We have lots of weekly Americanos , king of the courts, tournaments every second weekend. But, maybe it would work in places too If you approach it similar to Strava perhaps. You know how the have local legends, if you don’t have a look at it

Interesting idea, but I feel like this works better and is sort of king of the court one off format versus through a booking app.
