Going to Marbella on holidays

59 commentsu/Hustlin934w ago
Hi everyone, I'm going on holidays next week to marbella and I dont think I can go 10 days without a game of padel. My question is, whats the best way to join a couple of pickup games as someone who only speaks english? Appreciate any and all advice.

Yeah seconding Playtomic. I'm out there in June and have already looked and there's tons of games, lessons, socials etc etc you can join. Also, lots of English out there (you can tell by the names on the booking) plus Russians and Spanish who probably speak English. Supposedly whatever your level is, prepare to get absolutely humbled by a Spaniard with the same level.

Do you have Playtomic? If so it’s very easy to find open matches of roughly the right level and there are many English speaking players looking for games (in fact I was there a few weeks ago and found English was a bit the default). I can recommend Los Naranjos padel club, it had plenty of matches, a WhatsApp match advertisement group too, plenty of good courts and a great bar/terrace for after too

yeah playtomic all the way. enjoy!!!! marbella has great clubs. just training is a bit too expensive imho. but if you wanna take training, reach out to German Schäfer! He also is on youtube, amazing coach and maybe he can even help you organize a match.

Go to villa padierna and follow a lesson/play an open match trainers are watching you as you play and put you in some good matches. Never disappointed!

You can check out Padel N Play, they can set you up with trainers. Allready used them 2 times when I went on holiday. Great experience.

I usually play at NAC, it’s a great club. I found people through Playtomic at the beginning.

Played at Los Naranjos last week, great courts, some with roof’s to block out the sun. Not on Playtomic but there is a club called Nueva Alcantara Padel Club which is supposed to be unbelievable
