Is my partner in fault?

520 commentsu/Knappende4w ago
Tap-out legal or is he over the net with his racket? Golden point for 6-6 or 7-5. We played the point over because one was calling fault, my partner said good and the other player and I didnt see it. So handled good. But curious about your view. Tia https://pushitreplays.com/assets/videos/clips\_overlay/684ba638dd0ace25bf92882f3b25b0c5.mp4

Looks legal. Only bad sports would call this fault imo.

Legal. Bad sportsmanship. Player in red lost and was looking for a way out. Even if someone was half an inch over, you don’t call that. He was just looking for something to call IMO. I turned down the speed and froze at impact…was clearly legal.

Damn pushitreplays with the 2000 internet server cannot load a 17mb video properly... Anyways, it's hard to tell from this angle, but seeing the body posture it seems that he hits the ball inside of his court, legal point. https://preview.redd.it/5p52pl3hty1h1.png?width=928&format=png&auto=webp&s=b29690c47f500508453ce9f0dc66df512776c418

Very bad sportsmanship to call this out.

Super petty to call a fault on that.

That was 100% legal tap out. He was a full step from the net and didn't even lean forward. Too bad people have to cheat to try to win a match.

Like 95% certain that it was legal. Should never be called a fault.

In these cases if it is hard to see, I’d call it good/legal. Your team has won the advantage in that point so in doubt you deserve the point. Only if someone repeatedly and obviously pass the net I would consider pointing it out.. and the. Maybe more make them aware of it.

Ball was going into your court. So how in the hell could you touch the ball on his side of court? It’s clearly going with parabole into your court. That would be only possible if the ball would be going into opponents side or have some magic wind blowing into it. I think orange doesn’t understand this rule and maybe thought that you swaying racquet over net was illegal. It’s just basic physics at this point. There is no way to not sway from smash like this and it may create illusion you went over the net. But it’s completely legal.

Legal in my opinion. Look at where his feet are when he takes it..

Looks legal.

As long as the ball contact happens on his side of the court it's legal, although racket may have crossed to the other side of the court. Period.

We agreed for a let, and thats fine by me. 2 people didnt see it. 1 said good 1 said fault Totally fine to play the point again. No hate versus the opponent. We all makes mistakes at some point

I'm not calling that a fault I'd be surprised if it was, looking at the video
