Feedback on 4on Anti-Slip Spray used by Tapia

I saw Tapia using the 4on grip spray during the finals. I have never ever used a product like that before. Is it good? Does it work? Is it necessary?

It’s pretty common where I play. Define ‘works’? 😂 I use it to get better grip so my hands doesn’t glide on the handle. For me, using it once before a game of 2 hours is enough. I have a partner that uses it almost between every 3 or 4 games. So yeah, it works and the usage depends on how sweaty your hands get.

I use it always, I prefer it over changing grips all the time!

How does the spray prevent you from changing the grip?

Because it gives me grip so the racket doesn’t slip at all in my hand.. why do you change the grip?

It works but I’d rather lose every game for the next two years than use that thing.

Why then? Bc of chemicals?

Because it glues your hand to the racket which is uncomfortable. And it ruins your overgrip and you have to change it every time.

I don't because I don't want any chemicals on my body. I use tourna or felt style grip recently with no slipping when fully soaked All of the normal plastic tacky grips slip after 1 hr in 30c+ heat for me Arm sweatbands and towel off on changeover overs and change every set all clothes and bana

It works, in high humid spots or if you have sweaty palms it’s great (also wrist / sweat bands even though they like try hard and dorky). The spray doesn’t need much just a little bit goes a long way.

Thanks Tapia!

It definitely works well but it feels a bit nasty. I play in a very hot and humid country and I thought it was essential for quite a while, but that was only until I put a good over grip on. I have to change the grip quite frequently and I use a wrist band. But no longer required.

Try liquid chalk, I find it works way better for my super sweaty hands!

I don't use spray but putting a hesacore under grip really improved my game amd my hand isn't gliding off from the grip anymore. This was a good investment

The post above this in my feed had the word feeding in it and my brain swapped that in for feedback and I really got confused

I don’t like it because I like to move my grip around and I don’t feel it so comfortable to do that with it

I use it all day, because my hands are extremely sweaty and the rackets slips out of my hands constantly. It’s gotten way better with that spray, but it’s still not perfect tho. It feels a bit nasty, or unusual Also I wouldn’t use too much on it. But in my opinion, it’s worth it. Sadly it’s a tad too expensive to be honest.

I like the bullpadel gel, it keeps your hands dry during the game, for me it works fine. 4on never tried, 25€ in my country I think a bit expensive

The hack is buying cheap women's hairspray in a drugstore. It's like 1-2€ instead. Try it, it works.

Chingotto uses it as well as far as the pros go. Basically it temporary adds a ton of tackiness to the area you spray at. Downside is the high price tag for one. Lasts for 10-15 uses?

Mine lasts for about 6 months, I play at least once per week. Re-applying during sets.

It works (all brands work), but not for very long.
