I wonder if it would be quicker and more cost-effective to build artisanal cement courts like in the old days, if you need them oddly-sized and temporarily. With a little ingenuity you could do it with local labour surely.

Depending on labour etc etc cement block walls can be much cheaper than glass and steel, which is why they were built that way in the first place. Depends if by temporary you mean portable.
