Test du pressurisateur AirBall Padel après 2 mois

play 3-4x a week, balls are a real ongoing cost. Tried this electric pressurizer out of curiosity. The idea: you put your dead balls in the tube, it automatically repressurizes them. Results are clearly noticeable from the first cycle — not like brand new, but really close. The good: pays for itself within a few weeks, you just leave the balls inside between sessions, zero hassle. And it’s priced in the same range as manual models — might as well get the electric comfort. The bad: won’t bring back balls that have been completely flat for months, and the upfront cost stings a little. Verdict: 8/10. A no-brainer if you play regularly, pointless if you only play once a month. Not sponsored, paid full price.

Personally I'd get a Pascal box, since I can set a more exact pressure myself depending on my climate and ball manufacturer (some balls need more pressure to stay good), so I don't really see much upsides in electronic. Using the small hand pump (or a bicycle pump) also means there aren't any electronics involved, which I suspect is a bonus for longevity.

Fair point on durability, it’s a valid concern. The AirBall unit is stainless steel, not plastic — so it holds up well on that front. Manual vs electric is still a matter of preference though, both do the job!

I’m not sold on them. We just buy new ones each match, split the cost it’s only $2-3 each ..

2-3$ a match sounds cheap but it adds up fast. I had a different pressurizer before this one — the concept genuinely works, balls get their bounce back. Once you’re used to it, playing with flat balls just feels wrong.
