So update on the new racket that I left in the car for a day or two in weather above 30 degrees 😩

I compared it with the same racket which the local club in my area has, something felt off couldn’t tell what between the two because obvs the club racket is older but they told me they don’t leave them in the sun but put them in boxes and inside a room, I got one of the local players to use mine and the clubs, after hitting shots he said mine feels a bit lower on power compared to the clubs… even though mine is newer Ughh, I think I damaged my racket

About 50C and above is dangerous for epoxy in your composite materials. This temperature can be reached even in the bag if car is parked in direct sunlight, car color is dark etc.

To explain, I remember I put my laptop bag in the car trunk, to go to work, got there in 30, and I panicked if I ruined my MacBook because the bag was hot when I pulled into work 😩😩 turns out the racket did take a hit because the first two games were amazing, the third I felt wtf, my flat shots were floating they are really strong, chiquitas hitting the net, I’ve a tennis background so these should not be too bad, difference in play quality tbh

Ps I’ve a blue car, bag was in the trunk so even rolling windows down didn’t do jack

Was it in a Thermo padded bag or the racket fully exposed ?

It was in a bag, but I don’t think the bag is thermopadded tbh it’s a local brand bag

A day or two inside a car in those temperatures means the racket is probably cooked. Maybe even overcooked for some palates. Jokes aside, if the racket feels off, the material probably lost some of its flex. Even if it's not completely dead, the idea that the racket is done is already on your mind, so it'll affect your play. Time to move on.

Not inside the car they are not. Look up why you don't leave kids or dogs in a car under the sun. They can die in less than 1 hour. https://www.besafe.com/gb/safety-tips/safety-education/travel-safely-during-summer/ Apart from this you basically got the foam inside to expand with the scorching heat. Then, the racket cools down and the expanded foam contracts back down, leaving empty spaces between the frame and other layers. That's why your racket is cooked and with no power. It's no longer cohesive layers of materials.
