It's definitely addictive, one hour can easily turn into three. I've limped off the court with sore noodles for arms quite a few times!
Also an easy way to practice overhead technique is to just go to a sports field, empty parking lot or whatever open space with a fence or a wall, and just toss the ball up for yourself. Sneak in half an hour after lunch during WFH days, really does wonders for your skills and it's such a great break from work.
Could you be in outside, practicing overheads, during teams meetings? The answer is yes.
I've a big bag of old balls saved for this, so if I lose one or two, it's obviously not cool to litter, but not the end of the world either.
