Looking for input from players who’ve actually used these (or very similar profiles).
I’m currently using the **Dunlop Aero-Star Pro** and playing some of my best padel with it:
* Very **dry, direct, punchy feel**
* Strong **“grabby” contact / bite**, which I really like
* Great on smashes and volleys — feels like you’re properly *hitting through the ball*
**Main downside I’m noticing:**
* Low forgiveness on off-centre shots
* On very fast balls at the back (especially blocks), it can have a bit of a **“dead ball” effect** — doesn’t always give you that rebound/reset when under pressure
I’ve tested a few alternatives:
* **Bullpadel XPLO** → felt underpowered, muted, less spin vs Dunlop
* **Nox AT10 Genius Attack 12k Alum Xtrem 2026** → didn’t like the feel or perceived build quality
* **Most of the Adidas Range** → just didn’t click for me overall
Now considering the **Siux Fenix Pro 2026** as it seems closest on paper:
* Diamond shape
* High balance
* Aggressive/attacking profile
**What I’m specifically trying to figure out:**
* Does the Fenix actually give **more usable power**, or just a higher ceiling?
* Does it still have that **“grabby/bite” feel**, or is it more neutral?
* Is there **any improvement on that dead-ball/back-court block situation**?
* Is it just as punishing, or slightly more playable?
**Also important:**
* I’m quite a **wristy, slice-based player**
* The **longer handle on the Fenix** caught my attention 👉 Does that actually help with:
* Wrist acceleration?
* Slice/spin generation?
* Leverage on smashes?
So really trying to decide:
👉 Stick with Aero-Star (already performing well)
👉 Or move to Fenix as a refined version of the same category
Looking for honest, real-world feedback:
**Is the Fenix Pro 2026 a genuine upgrade — or just a different flavour of the same thing?**
