So, Playtomic have just added the feature that lets you see how other people have rated you after a game (Higher, Accurate or Lower).
Mine is 70% accurate and 30% higher, I’ve just lost my last 5 games in a row against people rated \~2. Before these losses, I was sitting at around 1.3, and now I’m down to a 0.6, so if it’s showing how people have rated me over the last 6 months, surely most of the people saying my rating is accurate were referring to me being at \~1-1.3 but looking at it now, it’s misleading and makes people think I’m accurate at 0.6.
Just a random thought I figured I’d share, unless this isn’t how it works 🤷🏻♂️
You have to be looking for/in an open match, then click on the ‘find a match’ tab and click on your picture from there. It’s weird, but this seems to be the only way to get it up
Yes that occurred to me too, but now that you play a few games at your new level it will even out. I think the main point is that it shows any anomalies over a long period.
I’m trying to figure out the delay on the data though, mine is based on just 4 games whereas I’ve played 11 on the account. The last 3 weeks of games aren’t in the data
Yeah it’s weird. It only works on people not in your friends list from what I see.
And you can only see it for your own account if you are in an unfilled open game.
FYI. I’m Uk based.
It works when looking at any open match that is NOT full, including your own profile.
Its definitely a feature thats only viable over time as my rating can yo yo between 1.5 and 2
Also not everyone provides the feedback, I know some people that dont rate as they state theyre bot good enough themselves to decide who is better or not. So you are unlikely to get rated by your opponents and team mates every single match.
