Question about serving

If you're the one serving, first serve you're at A and your ball goes to box 1. Second serve you're positioned at B (behind your partner) and your ball has to go to box 2. You always serve to the diagonal facing box.

From the official FIP rulebook: Rule 6.1. At the start of the service the player serving must stand with one foot behind the service line, between the imaginary prolongation of the central line of serve and the sidewall (service box) and must remain there until the ball has been served. Rule 6.3. The server may not touch the service line with their feet, nor the imaginary central line. Rule 6.5. The ball is served from the right side of the court it should pass diagonally over the net towards the receiving box of service of the person receiving the ball. It must bounce within the lines that limit this box. In the first instance the serve must go into the receiver’s box located at his left side, and, when one side wins the point, it is time for the following service and the ball must go into the receiver’s box located at his right side, and so on alternatively.

Your wording is difficult to understand, but if you’re asking can you serve from the opposite side to the one you’re playing on, the answer is yes that is the standard way to play the game. Most players play on one side, let’s say left for example, but serve every second serve from the right

The server alternates who they serve to every point. The serve is always diagonal. The severs partners can stand anywhere. In Australian format, the server amd their partner do not switch sides. In this case, the server may be serving behind his partner and can then move to his side after his serve

Your question is sounding very unclear. I can easily see 2 completely different possible scenarios: You mate decided for himself which side he serves from and to --> completely against the rules. Your mate is 100% following the correct serving rules and switching from where and where to he serves each serve. Please read up on the basic padel rules and everything should be cleared up right away!

Do you mean he crosses the imaginary line upon serving? I'm not sure I understand your question.
