Hello!
My wife and I are planning a 1 week trip somewhere in the south of Spain or maybe the islands in mid to late April, mainly chasing good weather.
We both play padel at an intermediate level (between lower and mid) and the idea is to play and train while we’re there. Maybe two sessions a day if it works out, mixing some coaching and just playing matches.
At the same time, it’s not meant to be a fully dedicated to padel camp. We also want to enjoy the week, good food, nice places, a bit of exploring.
We’re still figuring things out, but one thing that matters is that it’s relatively easy to get games as visitors. We’d rather avoid spending time every day trying to find people to play with.
So far we’ve looked at NAC but very open to other ideas.
If anyone’s done something similar, I’d really appreciate any advice. Good clubs, areas that worked well, or even things you’d do differently next time.
Also happy to take tips on where to stay or eat.
Thank you!
I see these types of posts a lot and maybe there’s some really big business in Spain selling these padel experiences, but if people want to do something reasonably close on a budget, they can go somewhere like Valencia, easily book a decent match every day on Playtomic and do a coaching session with a great coach for like €40 per hour for two people. So let’s say you pay for two hours of coaching and a match every day for 5 days that’s €235 per person or just €135 if one hour of coaching per day works and then sort accommodation yourselves and have a fun holiday.
If someone is more advanced and need to make sure they have top quality coaching and high level matches then I see why they’d pay for an elite camp or something but intermediate matches are incredibly easy to come by in Spain
