Tapia Got Free Points on Tiebreaker?🤯
can someone explain why tf pablo gave tapia a free point here??? pablo didnt touched the ball twice, the ball is legally sided contra pared and very far from the fence, I even rewatch the replay multiple times in different angles and in slowmo, I cant find the fault here.. whyyy????? also both of the english and spanish commentators only said "out of sportsmanship", sportsmanship of what?

It was Pablo Lijo who stop the play so how can you say that he didn’t touched the ball twice? Clearly he felt that it was a double touch, they were losing 3-5 so it’s even more worthy of recognition to concede a ball that will put you a point away from losing the match hence the sportsmanship

thats what i thought, in the slowmo on different angles showed that it didnt even touched twice even in 1 motion, but as paolooo said that pablo said he felt it in his racket that he touched twice, even coello was as confused as me lol, but pablo said it himself, it is what it is then🤷🏻♂️

Double touches are not allowed. Carrying the ball slightly (a continuous touch) is allowed. Rule 14.h)

it's doble-toque he touched the ball twice and raises his hand to admit it, which is why Tapia applauds the sportsmanship.

I just want to comment how impressive is that Lijo and Arce are the pair that coello and tapia struggle the most. It seems that Arce is the player that causes Coello more trouble by far. I don’t want to say that he’s better than Chingo but there isn’t any other right side player in the circuit handling Coello like Arce does (not even other lefties) and if were Galan i would start looking at his performances

yeah me too i was rooting for them to win in that match, hopefully they can compete again in the next p2 consistently

no it didnt hit the fence at all, turned out pablo admits that he touched the ball twice

it didn't, the player just touched the ball twice in the same motion that's why he stopped
