Asics are my go to for padel shoes and I had ankle issues with my 2nd pair. I added heel cushions and the problem went away.

Both Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour or Mizuno Wave Enforce Court are the most comfortable shoes I've ever tried. I've used the Nox Lux and Nox AT10, and there's no comparison. I have inflammation at the insertion of my Achilles tendon, and it was those Mizuno model shoes that made a big difference due to their comfort and cushioning.

They are not shit, but they are not better in terms of comfort, the Mizuno shoes offer better cushioning and improved sole durability.
