Yes thats i know.
But After losing the first point it’s 0–1, and now that we have the serve, can I play on the left and serve? Or since I was on the right when receiving, do I have to stay on the right when it’s our service game?
The idea is that with my partner, I’m better offensively, so the goal is for me to play on the left when we serve. But my returns are still not very good, so I prefer to receive on the right.
when your team is serving, as long as the server hits the serve from the correct spot, nothing else matters. you and your partner can stand wherever you like. Most teams stay left/right consistently regardless of who is serving. So yes, you can receive on the right, and when you/your partner are serving, you can play on the left.
While your partner is serving, there are no rules on where you must stand. You can stand wherever. Left, right, front, back.
The person above has already answered your question. You can stand wherever you like on the court, as long as you return the serve on the same side for the entire set.
