I’m posting a video of a recent match to get some feedback on my weaknesses and what I should focus on to improve. I’m the player as right on the far court (so on the screen im on the left), wearing the purple shirt and playing with the Nox racket.
I live in Italy and this is a match here in Milan. I started playing 4 years ago coming from football, so my technique is not the best but i have a good athletic condition.
In this match, the glass was very humid, so I struggled a lot with off-the-wall shots. I often felt out of position and found it particularly difficult to manage the defensive phase. Let me know what you think.

From the other comment you said you're the right sided player (so on the left in the video)
There's something a bit problematic with your forehand (defensive shots), I can't exactly work it out from the video I don't know if it's a grip issue or a technique issue but everything seems to be going a bit too far up and you hit the back glass a few times because of it.
One for you and your partner, overheads falling back you could slow it down a little (if your opponents are not coming up to the net). Both of you have good hands at the net/transition so it didn't cause too many issues but you.might get found out if you play hard overheads falling backwards and then try to get back to the net
Yeh maybe because i dont use my non-dominant arm to support the movement? Im starting to work on that.
I agree on your comment about overheads too.. Usually i play slower but i tried to be more aggressive on my diagonal to make more points.
Thanks for your feedback!
I watched half of the video.
You seem comfortable/better with your backhand. Have you tried playing right side and seeing if that feels better for you if you have a solid left side player?
Your weakest form is on the forehand, both volleys and general overheads. Sometimes you take overheads that are too high…let them bounce so you’re not returning it into the net. You sometimes get caught in no mans land, find ways to avoid that.
Serve is sharp. Have good athletic ability and natural instinct on returning power shots off the glass.
Good luck out there ☘️
Ops.. Maybe My text is confusing, i edit it. I already play right, i think you watched my partner 🤣
I agree he is very solid but he must improve volleys and overheads.
