Need help on which hand to use

Iโ€™m generally equal on both hands. I would say my shots are better with my left, but I have a lot more strength with my right. So basically my smash is better by 50% on my right, my other shots including the serve are better by 10-15% on my left. I play on the right side because I generally play with better players. Thank you very much.

If you can play leftie, play leftie. It's a huge advantage in most padel scenarios.

This is the answer. It's a big advantage if you can do it.

If you're usually playing on the right then I'd say play left handed. Helps the partnership dominate the middle of the court. I'd only play right handed on the right as a choice if you struggle to return serve backhanded. And then if you get to play on the left then switch to right hand where your improved smash will come into play

Go left and just put the hours in practising your smash

Which hand do you typically use for the other thing?

Whatever else he does with his hands? I think the OP might have been trolling us but all in good humour

Try some strokes with one hand and then the other to see what feels the best. A third option is to sit on your hand for a while first to change the feeling.

Also padel rackets have a safety string

I wonder if double forehand is a thing just like itโ€™s creeping in tennis. In tennis, the issue is it takes longer to change grip, which prolly is more detrimental in padel since the rally is quicker

Can't you serve with your left then swap over to your right post serve or while your partner is taking a lob shot and you have time? I'm a lefty and it usually works pretty well when teamed with a Right handed person.

No. You have to be strapped to the racket.
