To be honest, I work at Nox. When we design new rackets, we usually give Agus the chance to test different options and pick the one he likes the most. When he tried the 12K, he really loved it.
That said, as many of you probably know, padel rackets can behave a bit differently depending on weather conditions. Temperature and humidity can slightly affect how the rubber and carbon feel during play. Because of that, he sometimes switches between rackets depending on the conditions.
From our side, it honestly makes no difference whether we sell more 12K or 18K — both are part of the same line and developed with the same philosophy.
Looks like you this post was hijacked in favor of a NOX AMA 😉
I’ll throw one in as well if you don’t mind, I’ve been playing box for a few years and I notice the rackets have a lot of small imperfections where the texts are and how the decals sit. I keep reading here in the subreddit that it’s kind of a known NOX thing. Is that a thing discussed at the company ? Is it a misconception?
I read about people buying rackets from a shop and thinking they might be fake bc of it
The manufacturing of rackets is still quite manual, believe it or not. Because of that, sometimes small cosmetic imperfections can slip through quality control.
I’ll leave you a YouTube video where you can see a bit of the factory.

Thanks for the feedback.. in theory which is supposed to be more on the powerful side (18k or 12k)?
the 12K is actually the more powerful option. When the carbon has fewer filaments per square centimeter, the contact surface becomes more homogeneous, which tends to generate more power on impact.
With the new 12K XTREM carbon, this effect is even more noticeable because it provides an even larger and more uniform contact surface.
That’s why many players feel the 12K as the more explosive option, while the higher-K carbons usually feel a bit firmer or more controlled.
What would you recommand to a new player as a buget option to buy and learn the game?
The ML10 Pro Cup is a mid-range racket that will last you a long time, and because of its round shape it’s more forgiving while you’re still developing your technique.
And of course… lots of hours of lessons.
Hi there! This is not about rackets but about Nox shoes. As you work at Nox, could you tell me your preference: Lux or Pro? I had ML 10 hexa. Great shoe!! The only downside is that I felt my feet didn't breathe very well.
Well, I actually have the Luxury line for padel and the Pro line for pickleball. Both shoes are different in terms of design, mainly because they include different reinforcements depending on the specific movements required in each sport.
In my experience the Luxury ones feel more breathable.
Why marketing is giving him the 18k in white?
Be honest, there's people that just buy the racket because he is using it
Of course there are people who buy the racket just because Agus uses it, but that doesn’t mean the one he uses is always a white 18K. Sometimes he prefers to play with the 12K and other times with the 18K. And just like the carbon is not the same in those rackets, the rubber isn’t either — they are two different rackets.
I tested and like the AT10 12K 2025 but I can't find it here in my country. do you think I should just get the 12k 2026 or maybe the 18k 2026 because it has the same MLD black eva as the 12k 2025?
Where do you live? If you like the 12K you should probably go for the 12K 2026
