Please Premier Padel - Stop spoiling the end of matches by adding the completely useless audio-wave graphic to the timeline.

Isn’t that the “most replayed” feature, nativr to YouTube? They’re not adding it

it's streamed on Redbull TV, not youtube

It’s not the same feature? It’s an audio signature?

While I agree with the uselessness of it, wouldn't the length of the remaining video be a giveaway anyway?

definitely, that's why i added this > And as for the last match of the night, other sports have solved these issues years ago. You can just keep an idle graphic for another 60min running, so people can't see that they're reaching the end of the stream i.e no third set.

It adds absolutely nothing, and all it does is let you know that the match is about to end, meaning no third set. any time there's a 2nd set tie-break I have to make sure I never even accidentally move the mouse, otherwise I immediately find out if there's another set or it's about to end. And as for the last match of the night, other sports have solved these issues years ago. You can just keep an idle graphic for another 60min running, so people can't see that they're reaching the end of the stream i.e no third set. Just dumb

I totally agree. Have you contacted Red Bull tv?

Wish Red Bull TV could stop spoiling. Add some extra length to the stream FFS...

This is something that has been bothering me as well. The audio graphics should be removed so that the end of matches that are still ongoing in the stream wouldn’t be revealed. In addition, the app should be coded so that the progress bar shows the stream continuing for about one extra set, even if it doesn’t actually continue. When watching a recording you naturally need to skip forward in the stream because of breaks, etc. Implementing this probably wouldn’t be a very complicated task. It would be a reasonable service for paying customers, since viewers don’t want to know the result of matches in advance.

What is the "audio-wave graphic"?

you can see it at the bottom of the screenshot i posted. every time those small waves end, that means a match ends. so if you're watching a match in the second set, seeing the wave tells you if they won in 2 or if there will be a third set.

You mean the progress/scroll bar? The one in red? You simply won't get rid of that. It's a standard of any streaming or video system. Inbuilt. Used for navigating a video to specific moments. I know the problem you're describing though. It's the same if you happen to simply notice the duration of the video when you start watching, even if the progress bar is at that point still in the beginning. You can typically decipher whether it's a two set or a three set match just from the duration. And if it's a short video the suspension will be gone once you see who wins the 1st set as there will not be enough time for a comeback. So you simply have to avoid looking at the duration in the beginning, as well as the progress bar during the match. You can place sth (like a sheet of paper) on the bottom of your screen while you're watching. That way even if you move the mouse or press pause you won't see it. Otherwise you just have to remember to look away or squint whenever you press pause or move the mouse.
