Looking for advice on my coach

hello all, I have recently decided to learn padel, this is the first sport I’m going to be playing and actively seeking to learn. I have hired a coach and I don’t want to go flipping but I’m looking for advice on certain behaviors. im only two classes in and have been inside a court total of three times. in my second class today he seems very frustrated and angry. furthermore, he starts laughing at me on my face. other than that he doesn’t talk to me at all. all of his communication and greetings are directed only at my bf. Im hoping to understand if I should cut through the noise and keep at it? or shall I resort to just playing with my friends and learning on the go? or should I maybe get a new coach?

Maybe start off with group lessons, with a different coach of course.

New coach, immediately. Unacceptable behavior. Padel is all about having fun and getting better. Any coach who doesn't support that isn't really a worthwhile coach. Don't waste your money on this guy, and sorry you had to experience this. Pádel is a great sport and great community as a whole.

Get a new coach

Yeah, you need a new coach… also, before getting coaching, it’s good to play a little… get a feel for the game..

Def not right. Go for a change. Get recs from friends or try group classes.

Can you hit the ball? If not, get a ball machine and just keep at it until you can hit a ball cleanly. Then get a coach for tactics etc.
