Viboras not going crosz court

Hi! Im a left handed right side player, Im a fairly new Padel player and my technique is not great however im starting to understand the fundamentals of the vibora and trying it in matches with good results. I get a good amount of effect on the ball with decent speed however whenever i try to go cross court at most it goes to the middle. Im wondering would could potentially be the issue. Maybe im not turning my body enough and side on with the left side?

Hey fellow left handed player on the right side. Same as you. First of all, do you find playing vibora to the right side of the court easier than left? If so, you need to turn your body more to the left as you are waiting for the ball. How much left? A lot. Ask a friend to lob a ball towards you from the opposite court on the left side. You move to the position to play your vibora. However, don't hit the ball. Just as you are about to hit the ball, stop. Look at your feet. Where is your front foot pointing? It should point to where you want the ball to go. Where is your chest facing? It should at least be facing the left fence or even slightly towards your back left hand corner. This was my problem after looking at hours of game play. I thought i was facing the left fence. My chest was facing the net square on. Hence my vibora to the right is an easier shot. Not perfect yet but knowing the problem is half the issue solved. Still working on it every week. Vamos!

Hard to tell without seeing, but you most likely answered your own question in your post ;)

Okay haha just making sure because i try to watch better players and i feel like i copy them as much as possible, would you recommend over exaggerating the side position at first?

I'd recommend filming yourself. The feeling you have of your movements are often very different from the actual reality. When I took some lessons, I remember my coach told me to bend my knees a lot more when defending, and I was like "but i'm bending !" and he was like "bruh...". Same for the viboras, I had the same problem as you and had to over exagerate turning my body to make the ball go cross court. In fact it's only over exagerating for you because it's not natural yet, but it's not exagerated in itself. Hope it helped :)

It is most likely your footwork. Both your feet should be pointing to the side wall. You should just record yourself and compare it to videos of pros

Contact point is probably too far in front. Let the ball come closer to your body so you can angle it cross court. Also check your feet, if you're squared up to the net instead of turned toward the left side corner the ball's just gonna go straight.
2
Make sure the line between your shoulders point to where you want the ball to go, then need to make sure you don’t contact the ball too far infront (it will go parallel), you need to let the ball come in more to access the cross court corner
2
Yes turning the body, and hitting the ball in front of you relative with the court (in line with your body as your body is rotated to play cross court)

My guess is it's either your front shoulder is too open or instead of "throwing your racket at it" (it should look like a throwing motion) that you are closing your face too early creating a draw (like in golf) when you hit it.

Rotating more helps with opening up more contact points 1. Contact more behind, cross court 2. Contact point more in front straight 3. Contact point in the middle, in the middle. Behind I mean later, with in front I mean earlier Preparation for me is always the same, rotation is the same. Just the point of contact is what changes the direction for me.

For me it was feet position, rotation add contact point(not too far from you and not behind)

My guess without pictures would be the footwork.

If you play from the right side I think you are not rotating enough. My feet and chest point towards the sides.
