It's always cool to see how the game is played different around the world. My experience with middle east games is just like in the video, positioning and fundamentals not quite there, but everybody could hit deep lobs out x3 and had insane smashes. When you slow the game down and start placing soft balls into corners the way they do in Spain I found it was easy to overcome this style, as the speed and power applied ends up betraying you in Padel due to the walls etc. In the future I'd love for the Padel World Cup to display different parts of the world playing totally different styles of Padel, the way it happens in Football for example. Keep it up guys this looks fun.

So you are saying I can finally pop it out of the court if I go to the middle east :o

haha no but everybody you play with/against will so no more lobs. but if you play chiquitas towards the fence you'll win every game :)

May be due to drier climate? I can't see a good technique in the smash and still he manages to get the ball off cage? live at sea level with quite high humidity climate throughout the year. I can do X3 but not consistently, let's say once per match. Also this is Spain as as you say, the opportunities are less due to what you describe

> May be due to drier climate? i think it's just because people come to Padel from other sports when they're a bit older. Middle Eastern countries are very good at squash, people have great technique and power/speed. UK players tend to play Padel like mini-tennis. In Spain and Argentina you still have people growing up around the sport, playing it since childhood, often not having played Tennis before, so they have a different relationship to it. Post 2020 Padel boom I expect in the next 5-10 years the rest of the world will start developing their own 'native' Padel players and the game will get more international and varied.

Honestly? I really don't like the style of your smash. But they clearly work!

Happy you are enjoying and doing exercise and being healthy However I imagine the manosphere and Tate play like this Smash smash smash Hit hard no matter the cost Better off playing tennis by the looks of it

This was really nice to watch. Your level is so good that it makes padel seem a lot slower than when I play!

Nice highlights, you are probably better than me. But should work on you positioning on court. U often stay behind at the net when partner goes back, and gets caught in the no-man's-land a few times.

Entertaining, and skilful. Thanks for sharing. For everybody on the court, next step is to play slowly at times too
