How can a young padel player improve faster?

>Hi everyone! My daughter Franchesca is 8 years old and has been playing padel since she was 6. She’s very dedicated and loves training and improving every day. We’ve been sharing her journey on Instagram so she can look back and see her progress over time. I’d truly appreciate any advice from more experienced players to help her continue improving 🎾 Here’s her video if you’d like to watch it: [https://www.instagram.com/frangiestra?utm\_source=qr&igsh=MXF4ZzZ3ZjU4bnZpNQ==](https://www.instagram.com/frangiestra?utm_source=qr&igsh=MXF4ZzZ3ZjU4bnZpNQ==)

Not padel specific but as someone who played sports competitively as a kid. The main thing is for them to enjoy it there’s no need to rush their development. If they have lessons once a week and enjoy it thats enough.

Yeah exactly, i was training table tennis all my childhood and i never really realized that im supposed to be enjoying it. It was all about improving, getting results. So eventually i quit sports entirely and only been getting back into it in my 20s.

Get her to play other sports. I know it's counter intuitive, but early specialisation (pre 14), hinders rather than helps long term development into elite performance

At 8 years old it all should be games and fun. Improvement comes naturally as she grows up.

Patience, hit regularly and coaching, but most important thing for a young kid is to enjoy it

She is 8! Other than getting her to practice and ensuring her gear is in working order, stay out of it. Once they are a teen then its a different story.
