No middle age guys have stiffness after sports activity. It’s really weird you are the only one.

Ummmm…isn’t that all of us? For those that don’t, TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!

it happens to me. Specially around the neck and shoulders areas. I do try to stretch as much as possible, but sometimes I guess it’s not enough.

I used to have a very stiff lower back the next day after padel. After some research, I now focus on strengthening my glutes and hip flexors in the gym. Hip thrusts ftw! It has really helped me, I can now easily play on consecutive days without being stiff the next day. (Keep in mind: Lower back pain has multiple potential causes. What worked for me does not necessarily help you)

my PT told me the same too, ive been doing glutes exercises too using bands

stretching is your friend

You should do one day padel match and padel fitness the next day to feel stiff every day, you wont feel the diference anymore.

Hahahah, I do 4 days strength training and alternate day Padel but now I need 2-3 days consecutive rest

Of course. It happened more when my technique and posture was really bad. Hydrate, take magnesium, foam roll your muscle groups.

Yes. It’s a sport, not a game. Train your body accordingly.
