Damn, felt like you outplayed them as well. You did a great job of controlling the net. Could’ve put the point away about half way through with a better smash though

Not that great of a job controlling the net, volleys always hit high bounce, they could step up multiple times and always choose not to, they had multiple opportunities to finish the point and could not do it.

yeah good point one of my weaknesses is volley with high bounce and let opponent counter attacks!
need to train with bandeja and viboja...
context : i'm ex tennis player ;-)

yes, our strengths are defense and movement, but our weaknesses are offense and finishing shots (bandeja, viboja...).

Nice when you have 4 people who are not trying to be Tapia on the court but play within their level.

yeah good point ! to be honest there are maybe 2 or 3 "par 3" and maybe 5 or 6 "par 4" during 2h of game !! attack is not our strength.
and i think to amateur level it's very important to keep the ball in the pista and to tend to make 0 unforced errors. but everybody dreams to make 10 "par 3" per game ! :-D
next level is to be able to finish the point with easy ball...

Amazing how at that level nobody made an UE after like a couple of dozen of shots tops. Lots of times it was close, but the ball always went in. Even trying for such a rally on purpose is quite difficult.
Also impressive that nobody got fed up with the rally and tried to force the point, although I saw a couple of times the players at the other side of the net increase the speed of their overhead a bit.

Really nice rally. Impressive defense from both sides ! Idk if you guys are regular but all 4 players seem to be significantly better from the back than at the net so if you play together a lot I bet you often get very long rallys lol

Good job at maintaining ball volume. Time to finish points faster, as a left hand side player, you need to practice the Smash.

I felt like you need to be more aggressive, you also need more chiquitas, as summary you need to make them move a lot more.

Yes indeed from tactical point of view we need more insist on 1 player and move it (left/right and front/back). 👍
And less alternate on each player it's too easy.

Nice rally. Really don’t dig these sandy indoor courts, really takes the speed out of the game too much. You see a lot of high lobs just die against the glass where on a non-sand court you’d be able to play a bandeja off the glass

Speaking from experience, this is what happens when you play with four players who have the exact same play-style, strengths and weaknesses 😂
Also, I'd hazard a guess that this is a regular matchup (probably weekly) with the same four guys and pairings who know one-another far too well.

Very nice rally! One point to maybe look into: sometimes in the rally it seems you guys switch direction when you have one player under pressure. When this ball is not a winner, or very good, it kind of resets the rally. Don’t know if that makes sense?

Completely agree with you !
From tactical point of view we need to insist more on 1 player (multiple time in row) and move her : right/left and front/back.
It's easier to win the point that change player after 1 or 2 shots.

white guy needs to work on his overhead, he has much stronger options when the ball's above but his shots are too easy to return
